“Today we see a lot of Malay NGOs trying to defend the Malay position. Invariably they have been labelled racists,” said Mahathir (picture) on his blog today. “The unfortunate truth is that those who labelled them are equally racists because of their advocacy of meritocracy.”

“If ‘Malaysian Malaysia’ conjures equality between races, ‘Meritocracy’ implies something stronger,” he added referring to the DAP’s old slogan.

“It implies dominance by the race with the greatest merit in every field; in education, in business and in all fields of human endeavour.”

Dr Mahathir said that the campaign for meritocracy is not a campaign against racism but a campaign by racists against racists.

“The meritocrats are as much racists as the Malay NGOs, and Perkasa,” he said. “Incidentally by writing this I know the meritocrat racists will condemn me as racist. So be it.”

my dear dr m, correction. long long time ago, when you were ruling for 22 years, people had already labelled you as racist. we don’t have to wait till now when you came out to support perkasa, to label you as racist.

then the racist went to show further proof of his racism when he told malays to unite or else they would lose the country but… he said he is not racist! what the $@^!?(^!

respect works both way. if you want people to respect you, you got to respect others too. it’s not a one way traffic thingy. just like being sensitive and respecting people’s rights – all these work both ways.

my dear past PM of 22 years, we don’t respect people just because they are strong and powerful. in fact, instead of ‘respect’ the appropriate word would be ‘fear’. we fear those who are strong and powerful! and that is because the people who become strong and powerful…. has become a dictator!

it is no surprise at all that these word – “And respect only comes if we are strong and in power.” – came out of dr m’s mouth, right?
