happy labour day, happy divine mercy day and yes very happy because…

….the late pope, pope john paul II will be beatified today.

today in the catholic church, it is the second sunday of easter , which is also the divine mercy sunday.

(beatification is the second step to become a saint, which is known as cannonisation. read about beatification  here and a simple explanation of the two here).

lots of information about the beatification can be found on the EWTN website.
