MAFREL at work again

remember MAFREL – malaysians for free and fair election, the election watchdog? before the election this year, i joined MAFREL and was made the penang island state co-ordinator. we organised trainings and had recruited lots of volunteers. then we set off to work! lots of work to do like checking the voters registration, monitoring during nomination day, polling day, at ceramah and so on. well not that the permatang pauh by-election is coming up, MAFREL is rising up again to work! yesterday we had our second meeting at prai. returned home near midnight so no time to give you a long account of the first meeting and second meeting. will do so tomorrow or day after tomorrow. anyway, the task i was tasked with is to start and maintain/update the blog specially for the by-election. so now i’m announcing to you the blog – simply name permatang pauh by-election. do give it a visit… especially after nominations day. we, MAFREL members will be going around monitoring for any wrong-doings or discrepancies and all these reports would be posted on the blog. thus do bookmark the blog and visit it daily! who knows you might get to read some exclusive report only MAFREL members managed to dig out!
