today is the pope’s birthday and….

yeah april 16 is the birthday of one of world’s famous leader – the roman catholic church pope, benedict XVI. say "happy birthday" to him, please. oh and while you are at it, spare a thought for one of world’s not famous blogger (oh don’t got that far – malaysia not famous blogger i mean) — yours truly here! yep, that’s right, today is also my birthday.

i was born on april 16 decades ago. actually the story was that i was actually born on april 14 evening, which happened to be a saturday. saturday being half day and sunday being non working day, my late father went to register my birth on monday, april 16, a working day. somehow or other my father did not mentioned the date april 14 and the staff at the registration office thought it was april 16 since he was there on that day of april 16. so there you are… every year since then i celebrates my birthday two days later than my actual birth date. 😉
