one was angry, the other was ashamed…

and a very good read from jeff ooi’s blog where he sub-headlined ’14 UMNO MPs and an UMNO deputy CM doing squat!’ (talk about malays being sidelined by UMNO youth? what are your 15 UMNO MPs doing? shame on you UMNO boys!!).

===================

angry – pak lah, our dear PM

ashamed – hilmi yahaya, UMNO balik pulau (penang) division chief.

why? some young UMNO monkeys, still wailing and lamenting on thier ‘masaaah orang melayu’ decided to show koh tzu koon, penang’s CM, they want him out by displaying anti koh banners.

gee, was that a sandiwara or what? all pak lah was heard to say (at least as reported) was “it’s not nice”, and hilmi “i have no knowledge who is behind it” mentioning that pak lah had called for an investigation into this incident.

oh really. after (if there is) the investigation, then what? perhaps just an ‘advice’ to the UMNO youth not to do it again (like what the authorities advised the UPM samseng). when do we ever see a fair and severe action from their kind to their own kind? like the article 11 protestors. like the UMNO ultraboy khairy. his chief defended him instead and the cheek of him, his advice of :

Young leaders who make racial and religious statements to be popular with a particular community will not go far in a multiracial and multicultural Malaysia, said Barisan Nasional Youth chief Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.”

whom should be directed at khairy boy, he said no, when he spoke on that, he did not have khairy in mind at all. he was directing it at MCA and gerakan instead. see the racial tone there?

oh no, they, the UMNOputeras don’t. like in this instance (the masaalah orang melayu PP cliche), the terengganu UMNO information chief insisted that the raising of this issue – malays in penang being marginalised – is not racial. see, defending thier own kind. these penang UMNO young boys harped on malays being sidelined by the mainly chinese gomen, by the chinese CM – isn’t that being racial?

perhaps they should seriously listen and consider, what wan mohd aimran, a NST columnist had to say.

and oh god, get this – i was totally stunned when i read it (in that same article) – that terengganu UMNO chief said this:

The public also want to know what is going on, so it’s not totally wrong to raise some issues openly.”

He said the views of Penang Umno Youth should be seen as reflecting the sentiments and concerns about the progress of the Malays in the state.

really? the public wants to know? i thought it was only the UMNO youth. oh and good lord, their views reflected the views of the rest of the malays in penang? since when UMNO youth was appointed spokesman for ALL malays? oh silly me, since they joined UMNO lah.

wait, that’s not all… the show gets better. another crony, sg petani’s UMNO chief said:

“I think what Khairy said was not a racial issue. It’s a national issue. Umno has the right to raise the issue,” he said, adding that the issues raised should not be swept under the carpet.”

oh yeah, right. UMNO has the right to raise the issue because they are UMNO – U Must Not Object. i shuddered to think what if MCA, gerakan, MIC, keadilan, PAS, DAP were to raise such similiar issues? will UMNO said they have a right to do so or will they point a racial finger at them?

i would like to end with this quote, which i think i read in jeff ooi’s blog comments long ago:

when the malays… er… i should change to UMNO, not malays.. ok, so….

when UMNO raised an issue, it’s national interest.

when the chinese raised an issue, it’s racial.

when the indians raised an issue, it’s a non issue.
