university students turning into gangsters
Post on Jul.21, 2006
refer to the sun’s report (picture on left was taken from there), which incidentally was the only media that reported on this incident.
no time to blog further (will update in the evening) so directing you to the ever fast and comprehensive post of howsy of the sensintrovert, with video and lots of pictures.
UPDATED: saturday, 22/07/06, 1:26 AM
many bloggers had blog on this incident (as you’ll notice in howsy’s blog). good to learn that this incident had raised the anger of bloggers. rightly so. it’s sad to learn that once again, we see people with the mob mentality… and now these people are U students, for goodness sake, future working citizens of the country! oh no, somebody said they are future UMNO youth members. UMNO youth can start recruiting them now.
we still don’t see any other mainstream media reporting on this except the sun and malaysiakini. no officials from UPM had spoken up either. what about our higher education minister, mustapha? he seemed to want to wash his hand off this matter when he said to leave everything to UPM. (maybe he’s too preoccupied with the issue of the controversial ethnic relationship guidebook?).
in a surprising move, PAS had spoken up to condemn these samseng. read about it here. it is in bahasa though. somebody should translate it as i find it quite interesting as there were many names mentioned. oh, and they also mentioned some other samseng incidents in other U as well, like USM and UM.
btw, OT here, surfing harakah website, i notice that there was also an article where they talked of “the media going overboard with news/report of siti and datuk k”. i fully agree as i had blog here.

So, what has “National Service” inculcated them in the pro-establishment terms? To become bully boys?
Elizabeth Wong of Suaram herself was assaulted not so long ago, isn’t it, by such university students?
lucia: er… elizabeth wong assaulted by U students. not that i know of. in what incident?Â

When you have people qualifying into Unis with “peanut” qualifications, they tend to churn out Monkeys.
lucia: haha. well put, ranger.Â

Pretty sad that they allow such a thing to happen. What good is the campus security if they are just wallflowers to this incident.
lucia:Â true. one account said the security saw everything but never do anything and another account said the security intervened… but only to be on the gangsters’ side!!

PETALING JAYA – Human rights activist Elizabeth Wong has claimed she was shoved to the ground when she confronted six men who were allegedly spying on a group of university students attending a meeting in Petaling Jaya……
Campus security or students, what’s the difference?! They are minions sponsored and directed by an apalling forked tongued system.

University students turning into gangsters? Perhaps, but quite often it’s gangsters being admitted into our public universities. See, they have the gangsters and hooligans base all along, and all they need is the Herd Mentality to kick it into action.
lucia: hmm… sounds quite correct if you put it this way. never thought of it.

Herd Mentality flourishes with a kampong “perkauman”(communal) nurturing bolstered further by quasi religiosity. Finally scripted and orchestrated by a hidden Hand. The usual modus operandi.
Perhaps the regular crop of expected gangsters actually has largely moved on to more lucrative fields, like loan sharking, DVD pirating and managing the underground prostitution industry. So here comes a new crop of wild U-educated scums to fill the new raw vacuum in Bolehland society.
Why not? We have a minister who claims that the video were unclear – almost like in dismissive denial Datuk Mustapha Mohamad claims the videoclip is unclear: http://tinyurl.com/krmks

I could even recognise some of them if I see them in the street.

Looks like the ‘bolehness’ of Bolehland is also no less than plain selective racist permissiveness, as well.
lucia: yep, this is so expected.
