international AIDS candlelight memorial in penang

penangites, have your heard of the community aids penang – CASP in short? the few of you who followed my blog might have heard of it when i blog about attending forums organised by CASP on occasion of world AIDS day.  i like attending their forums because they usually invites people from different religion to talk. they are well supported by the state government during the forums they organised.

internationally, in a year, there is this international AIDS memorial day (IAMD) and the world AIDS day (WAD). of course CASP celebrates both. IAMD is on 15 may and WAD is on 1 dec.

this year, for IAMD, once again, like previous year, CASP will be organising two events – one is the walkathon cum candlelight memorial on 7 may at the penang municipal park (formerly youth park). the second event is a charity dinner at bayview pacific resort on 15 may.

i am appealing to you to support CASP by joining in the candlelight memorial and/or the dinner (RM70 per pax). AIDS should be the concern of everyone. show your solidarity with PLWA (people living with ADIS).
