film screening of exiled documentaries

anyone of you remember the tv2 documentary on bakun dam that was taken off the air, and the producer, chou, was sacked? only 2 episodes of his documentary was shown on TV and he was sacked. well, now you have a chance to watch the movie brought to you by a few NGOs. here are the details:

Penang Chinese Town Hall Youth Section, SUARAM (Penang branch), Student Progressive Front (SPF) USM, Persatuan Bahasa Tionghua (PBT) USM, Penang Diocese Campus Ministry Office and Sembang-sembang Forum would like to invite you to attend the screening of documentary “Exiled” in Penang. We will organise two sessions of screening in Penang which will be in English and Chinese. Please refer to the detail as below:

*Venue :Caring Society Complex, Jalan Utama, Penang*

Free admission. Through these films, we hope to engage people in Penang to have a better understanding on Sarawak issues and some other community issues. We also strongly recommend all Sarawakians in Penang, people who are facing community issues like land, telecommunication towers, urban and town planning etc to join us to for exchange of views.
