new year’s jokes (the allah issue)

at the after friday prayer protest (again and again! as i mentioned many times… after pray pray, come out to shout shout and condemn people). protesting against the court’s decision to allow the herald to use ‘allah’ in its bahasa publication.

the jokes on new year’s day i heard on tv about the protest are…

– someone said allah is for the muslim only.  the word allah belongs exclusively to muslim. LOL! 🙂 what a joke! (malaysian muslim, remember, malaysian muslim. only the malaysian muslim wants to claim ownership of the word.  not only i am laughing but the world is laughing too)

– someone said muslim are the majority, so the rights of the majority must be respected. hehe! what a joke! (what nonsense! minority has no rights? no say? something so important and big issue as this so as to go to court should not merely hinge on ‘the majority’.)

– someone asked why all of a sudden the church wants to use allah. hoho!! what a joke! (the church had many many years back been using allah already).

still on the protest but from malaysiakini:

– someone said that now the christian missionaries will use allah, confusing muslim and undermining religious harmony. LOL! :] what a joke! (whoa!! who are you to say the muslim will be confused? you mean you don’t trust them… you think their faith is so weak? undermining religious harmony? well for a start, allah does not belongs exclusively to muslim, so can be use by anyone, and if you prevent others to use it, then it is you who is underming religious harmony!)

outside the protest,

the perak mufti provided the laugh too when he said the court’s decision is an insult to all muslim. hehe! what a joke! (whoaa!! i believe it is the other way round. you in saying that are insulting the muslim.)

and shahrizat, the umno wanita chief said:
– “actually non-muslims in the country accept the fact that the word ‘allah’ belongs to muslims. haha! :] what a joke! (who say so? go take a survey! many non muslim had voiced allah does not BELONGS to muslims!)

our dear ex PM provide the joke when he said:

– “This is because ‘God’ in other religions is translated as “Tuhan” in Bahasa Melayu or Arabic, not ‘Allah’. Allah’ specifically referred to God in Islam.  ROTFL! what a joke! (for a man of his caliber, i thought he should be very smart. he didn’t know that allah had been used long before islam was born! he didn’t know that the arabs christians had all along for hundred of years been using allah!)

and finally the best laugh of all… i really go ROTFLMAO!!…. :rotfl was when i heard the former selangor MB, khir toyo is going into mourning

HAPPY MOURNING, KHIR TOYO, HAPPY MOURNING!  (and yes i’ll be very happy because through his action, it shows how silly he is, and he is making the world laughing at us too!)!  do go and read why he is mourning at the malaysian insider and laugh at his views. so silly. so pathetic. many commenters had rebut his views.

thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you above for making my sunday so joyful and interesting. normally i don’t post on sunday, or if i do, i don’t do socio-political posts but usually i’ll post inspirational stories or jokes… oh! OHH! this is a joke post after all, i see!

btw, for those who understand bahasa, please go and read this article by the former perlis mufti (now, that is a REAL mufti, unlike the perak mufti – ugh!) in which he stated that the issue here should not be the fight for the name of allah but more on defending ‘akidah’.
