khairy – the instigator?

now this is only a rumors i heard. i am not saying it is true nor it is false…. well, it’s a rumor!

regarding the UMNO protest in penang, someone told someone, and that someone, in turn told my mother, which then my mother told me this: (well that was what we call a rumor lah)

"’it was khairy who brought along some of his men from KL to create trouble."
(in other words they also meant some of the protestors were khairy’s goons from KL.)

well maybe he didn’t bring his men but the protest was instigated by him?

there could be a 50% truth in the protest being instigated by him because for the past days there had been… again… rumors that he is planning some chaos and mayhem or sometimes like he is planning a gathering of thousands of malays on a protest.

hmm… knowing this khairy person as we know him, there is some possibility that all these rumors are true!

according to malaysiakini, on that same day of the protest in penang, there were also some smaller protests by UMNO in selangor, klang and perak. wah!! suddenly demo had become the culture of UMNO?? i thought prior to the election the UMNO controlled TV had been showing us demo from bersih, hindraf, the judiciary, the human rights demo as "ini bukan budaya kita" (this is not our culture)… but now they demo… is it their culture?

talking about the protestors being ‘imported’ by khairy, at anil netto’s blog, his friend was there and gave an eye-witness account of the demo. among other things, this interesting part was what he said:

One thing though – there was a slight awkwardness in the marchers… and unfamiliarity… as if they were not from Penang, at least not from the island. They looked a little out of their familiar territory – just an observation.

which bring many commenters (not only anil’s blog but other blogs) to say that most of the protestors could be from neighbouring states kedah and perlis (who observe friday as holiday) and some saying most of the protestors could be paid RM50 just to be there.

hmm…. interesting.

coming back to the arrogant, samseng-like khairy, i think by now most of you have come across this article in the malaysian insider blog regarding the infamous son-in-law.

The Malaysian Insider understands that Khairy – who until recently was being touted as the next Umno Youth chief and a future minister – could be looking at giving up his position in the youth movement, signaling probably the end of a meaningful political career for the country’s fastest rising star.

whoa! i hope that will come true! remember to go to the malaysian insider to read the full article, if you have not yet. very interesting read!
