stupidity in malaysia – stink to highest heaven! part II

in my part I post on this same topic, i did mentioned that i will update the post as times goes by… but then i realised even though i update, not many people will know. for the last 3 days i did updated it… of course there are updates since stupidity is around in malaysia everyday. so for now, instead of update, i'm making it a new post – but do remember to read my part I for the updated post, ya.

now what got me into starting a new post of stupid remarks is this one really really very stupid remark i read yesterday on the headline of malaysiakini – 'MAIS: what if 'alalh' appears on liquor bottles?'

Non-Muslims should not allowed to use the word 'Allah' or the word may find its way onto places such as liquor bottles and karaoke centres, said Selangor Islamic Affairs Council (Mais) chairperson Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa.

ok ok i'm composed now. ahem…. but wait, going to quote the article again:

"What is their aim (of the Catholic church in Selangor to use 'Allah' in their Sunday sermons)? It is none other than the possibility of confusing Muslims with the word 'Allah', whereas we believe in Allah while they believe in the Trinity.

again and again the confuse thing came in. 

no. 1: does muslim goes to sunday church to listen to their sermons? if no, how will they get confused?

no. 2: even if muslim does hear sermons with 'allah' in it, why you think they can get confused? simple! it is because you don't trust your own muslim brethren – you think their faith is so weak that just listening to it, they will get confused or get converted.

i really can't understand how stupid some people can get to be. forrest gump was right – stupid is as stupid does. 

" what is their aim in using 'allah' in their sunday sermons, if not to confuse muslim " – that sounds so stupid. they use 'allah' in their sermons, if you are not there, how can you hear the sermons, and if you cannot hear the sermons, how can you get confused? is the MAIS chairperson encouraging muslim to go to church to listen to sermons?

same thing goes for the malay bible, alkitab. the alkitab is read by christians only and distributed among christians only, why worry about muslim seeng the 'allah' word in the alkitab? again, if you fear the alkitab falling in the hands of the muslim, why worry if the muslim himself/herself is strong in his/her faith. just seeing the 'allah' word in the alkitab won't confuse her/him or suddenly make her/him want to convert to christianity. 

methink i had already said the above thousand of times. real fed-up already. fed-up of them being so stupid as to undermine their own faith. really! through their own actions, they are only telling the whole world, how insecure they are in their own faith.

ok i'm bracing myself for more stupidity from malaysia. i know i will have something to udpate here!
