special day – today!
as today is a special day that comes only…. ??…. thousand?… years, will not ever come again, i just have to blog something. i am trying to time it at 12.12 to press the post button too. ok what shall i blog about then? been so 'dead' in blogging already, don't know what to blog. now had been active on facebook instead. well i need to revamp my blog first (how many times have i said that??) before i really get into regular blogging.
ok what shall i blog about then? ahh…. what had i been up to. well as i said, being active on facebook… then busy writing for CJMY (which is powered by malaysiakini) and herald. busy running around attending forums, ceramah, workshop, protests, press conferences, events.
speaking about malaysiakini, anyone want to subscribe to malaysiakini? it's the best online news portal you know! if you do, contact me as i'm a reseller and can give you some discount.
ok, what had happened lately? just past weekend, as my brother and family from singapore was in penang, he rented the noble villa apartment at macalister road with 3 rooms, he asked us (my mum, sis and i) to stay there for that 2 nights when he was there. very nice place, with fully equipped kitchen, good for long-term stay.
while there, on a sunday afternoon, the whole family (plus brother and family in penang) went for chinese course lunch at starview restaurant. during the night we went to straits quay. that was my second time being there. first time i was there, did not walk around. it was a friend who wanted to give us a treat that bought us there so we went straight to the restaurant – blue reef. and that sunday while we were there… again went to blue reef! arghh! it was my niece who wanted to go to that restaurant so i had no choice of course. the first time i was there, i think i had the pan fried or grilled salmon, which was nice but this time it was my mistake to choose the battered seafood galore. not that it was not nice but i can't eat too much of battered food. never mind, learn my lesson, next time won't ever order it.
after dinner, we walked around the pier and i was so fascinated by all the beautiful boats there. they must cost a bomb and probably owned by rich people, VVIP, royalty.
ok that's about my personal life… now what about the current socio political news? my blog is after all about this! oh yeah when i revamp my blog (how many times had i said that?) and started blogging actively again, i should concentrate more on socio political happenings and current news/issues than personal stuff.
the latest news that had been much talked about (at least on facebook) was the visit of najib, the PM! i'm saying "the PM" and not "our PM" since he is NOT our PM. we had no choice in choosing our PM! malaysia PM always has to come from UMNO. always the UMNO president will become the PM!!
ok back to his visit to penang. do you know he was so close to me? haha. i don't mean in person of course. i mean so close to where i stay when he visited penang – when he had a walkabout at the bayan baru market/food court. my flat is just somewhere opposite the market!
people had been talking about the promises he made when in penang – affordable housing and building MRT. huh? according to DAP, it's 'old news recycled'. yalah, who will want to believe him? he was saying that to fish for votes! don't forget eh general election is coming.
another hot news that was well consider not recent – is about the allegation of deepak linking the PM to the late altantuya. it seemed that he was (forced?) involved in arranging the second statuory declaration (SD) of bala, the private investigator, which means to say the 2nd SD was false and the 1st SD could be true! do you remember what the 1st SD was all about? no fear, i am here… i have blog about the 1st SD that time – you can read about it here.
interesting is no. 25:

25. During this discussion and in an attempt to persuade me to continue my employment with him, Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that:
1) He had been introduced to Aminah by Najib Razak at a diamond exhibition in Singapore.
2) Najib Razak informed Abdul Razak Baginda that he had a sexual relationship with Aminah and that she was susceptible to anal intercourse.
3) Najib Razak wanted Abdul Razak Baginda to look after Aminah as he did not want her to harass him since he was now the deputy prime minister.
4) Najib Razak, Abdul Razak Baginda and Aminah had all been together at a dinner in Paris.
5) Aminah wanted money from him as she felt she was entitled to a US$500,000 commission on a submarine deal she assisted with in Paris.

see? najib had met and know altantuya. i suppose he will swear on the koran again that he had not met altantuya before. ahhh…. and if people are smart, they can speculate why altantuya was C4-ed based on the above.
altantuya case and the scorpene case are of course related. most people know about suaram hiring the french lawyers to investigate the scorpene case. the rakyat had been very mad when the govt. started to harass suaram over this! why is the PM so fearful for the lawyers to come to malaysia? why is the PM reluctant to be a witness? of course you know why i'm sure.
ok i'm going to stop talking now as it is near midnight. i really hope i will revamp my blog one day and started blogging actively again (how long ago had i said that? how many times had i said that?).
note: oops. i realised i can set my post to be published at a scheduled time, so i'll just set the time to 12.12! simple as that to get my post posted on 12.12.12.12.12 (12 dec. 2012, 12:12).
