breaking news! perkasa demands action against BTN deputy director

based on these two reports, ‘perkasa demands ISA action against christian preacher’ and ‘perkasa claims over-reaction to BTN man’s racist word‘,  from the malaysian insider, allow me to present to you my own report. (remember to read that two articles first).

perkasa  demand ISA action against racist BTN man and claims over-reaction to the christian preacher’s video .

perkasa president, datuk ibrahim ali allayed concerns that non malays would be very upset if no immediate action is taken against BTN deputy director.

“use the ISA against those who have consistently been insulting chinese and malay.”  this is a serious issue. perkasa regrets the action hamin husin,  who had been irresponsible to insult chinese as si mata sepet and indians as si botol.”  ibrahim ali told reporters yesterday.

the outspoken politician claimed that the government had been “too slow” in taking action against hamin husin, saying that the normal investigation process took up “too much time”.

“you have to be quick in cases like this. the normal prosecution process just takes too much time. perkasa is of the opinion that if the government is not firm in dealing with this issue, it will only get worse.  People will support the government (using ISA) if the intentions are for peace,” added ibrahim.

the malay rights group, perkasa also said that unfair assumptions were being leveled against benjamin stephens, the christian preacher and talented rap singer, namewee.

“the christian preacher’s video was taken in 2006 – why only now, after 5 years, the muslim are making noises?” asked ibrahim ali, “and in namewee’s case… things are being blown out of proportion, little things being made into a big issue.”

ok ok this is just my fantasy report as we know it won’t ever happen. the point i’m trying to bring out is to show the hypocrisy and double standard of perkasa. why did they demand action (ISA too!) against the benjamin stephen so fast? why did they jumped to hamin husin’s defense so fast?  why is it consider over-reacting to his racist remarks, when perkasa had been over-reacting to namewee’s ‘nah’ video? how can ibrahim ali said they don’t know if what hamin husin had said was true or not, there must be an investigation first before people jump up and down, when for example, they jumped up and down when DAP’s MP, tony pua said something about doing away with discount for bumiputera who buy houses over a certain amount? without checking facts, they thought tony meant doing away discount completely and started jumping up and down!

*sigh* i’m so very tired of perkasa’s double standard and hypocrisy stance. it goes on and on, never ending. now… where’s my panadol.
