hari raya dinner at love love love villa

yep, the sign said it, not me. look…

” villa cinta kasih sayang ”
(the word ‘villa’ is not so clear because of the light)

isn’t it that cinta in bahasa is love, and so is kasih too, and sayang. thus love love love villa.

get to know this couple through my involvment with MAFREL works (malaysian for free and fair election). well, i’m sure indeed this lovely couple, cikgu aliasa and dr. zasmani is a couple full of love. last year, although they just started to get to know me a few months and we rarely meet too, they already extend their hari raya invitation to me – actually via bk ong, who is MAFREL north region cordinator.  they asked ong to bring his fellow MAFREL members, so ong asked me, and also howie, who also went along last year.

ong was suppose to go with howie and i (howie driving) as last year but it so happened that several MAFREL members from sarawak were in penang for some other conference, so ong asked them to tag along with him to cikgu aliasa and dr zasmani’s hari raya invite.  of course this nice couple don’t mind since they are MAFREL members.  oh yeah i met several other MAFREL members at the dinner – notably the two malay ladies from USM. i notice that their guests consists of a lot of non malays but i notice that the malays guests whom i don’t know were more friendly, as they smile at me while the non malay guests seemed to keep by themselves.

there were many delicious food (8 varities, i think)  but i like most were the lemang and ketupat. well, they are hari raya speciality so must make sure to eat them!  the curry chicken has finished by the time we went up to the food table… but never mind, i don’t really like curry chicken (though i like the gravy).
