oct 8 – indonesians invasion of malaysia!

… so it was reported in the daily chilli.

apparently a group of young indonesians calling themselves ‘benteng demokrasi indonesia’ or ‘bendera’ in short planned to attack malaysia on oct. 8. they had started amassing weapons already!

oh gee, do the indonesians hate us that much?  maybe yes.   on the popular social networking community site, facebook,  i came across  3 groups sprouting up and each of them has as many as 400, 000 members! true. go to:

maybe there are more that i have not come across. i’m sure there are anti malaysia blogs and forums too that sprouted up.

if you don’t know why suddenly so many indonesians are anti malaysia, then you had not been reading the news. the spat started more than a month ago, i think, when, malaysia was accused by indonesia of stealing one of their (indonesian) dance as their (malaysian) own. actually it was a mistake of discovery channel when they mentioned the indonesian’s dance ‘pendet’ was from malaysia. you better read about it here (that is if you didn’t know about this issue).

this was not the first time indonesia and malaysia has a spat of course.  several times already, they are like a cat and a dog.  not too long ago it was about maids. and if not mistaken, i remember long ago, it was about our national anthem. our national anthem music was said to be from the song ‘terang bulan’ and indonesia had claimed ‘terang bulan’ originally comes from their country.

hmm… have you notice that among all our neighbours, indonesia, the muslim majority country, is the one country, that so many times have spats with us. wonder why.

hey when the haze was here in our country… who caused the haze? indonesia! then why didn’t malaysia made noise with indonesia?
