About the book

The book is a collection of articles by Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj, MP of Sungai Siput, as well as Central Committee Member of Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM). The book presented to readers a number of crucial discussed, including the globalised economy, race relations, Hindraf, privatisation of essential services and the future of socialism in Malaysia.

The author hopes that positions espoused in the set of essays which included in this book “will help spark the debate we so urgently need to have on a whole host of issues relating to development and nation building. This book provides a refreshing alternative insight into topic that affect us all.

About the author

Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj* is a physician by training and a founding member of Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM). He is currently the only Member of Parliament from PSM with his famous victory against MIC president Samy Vellu.
