As a Muslim, I could only hang my head in shame yesterday for the behaviour of my fellow brothers!
If they had only displayed half their religious zeal in eradicating poverty among their fellow Muslims all these years, they would have done much more to ‘protect the image of Islam’ in Malaysia than by threatening words and violent gestures.

Such groups of people are the ones who are sowing seeds of disunity amongst Malaysians. If you’re so well-versed and confident in your practice of your religion, why fear engaging others to enlighten them on the tenets of your religion, whatever religion that may be?
Using mob tactics and bulldozing over others would not project a good image of your beliefs!

Zulkefli is a racist fanatic and so is Salahuddin Ayob and both should be arrested for inciting racial hatred.
Instead of shouting on the road like uncivilised barbarians both Zulkefli and Salahuddin should have attended the forum and argued their points.

The misguided acts of these hooligans in disrupting what was an intellectual discussion has only propagated the idea that Islam is intolerant, oppressive, violent and condones terrorism.
They have brought great shame to true Muslims in Malaysia.

In front of the Law, if you abuse others after you’d been provoked, is considered as guilty too. Furthermore, this forum had done nothing significantly insulting towards the Muslims. I don’t think that would be enough to be counted as a provocation. But what’s utterly disgusting is the words from the protesters. It downgrades the intelligence of their whole group, and so is Malaysia being downgraded. What will other countries think about when they saw people in a country calling other races pigs. They’d be laughing hard due to the low intelligence of this particular country. You could say that they’re just a group of 300 of the whole Malaysia, but the fact that they’re from Malaysia means there are no excuses.

‘SAMSENGS’ rule the day. Even if they were against this Bar Council forum, they should’nt be behaved so unruly and used offensive language. I find them pretenders of Islam and ignorant. They got it wrong, I suggest they grow up!

Well I disagreed with muslim/malay organization who demonstrated against the Bar Council move to organized the said forum..Muslims shouldn t run amok with those type of activities.Face them gentlemanly..Challenge them for debate..let see whose religion are better…Televised the forum nationwide uncensored..I would like to see how far they could bring their argument..In fact most learned muslim could argue effectively with any religion and proving their religion is a hoax .Muslim dont need Al Quran for the arguments.Be like the late Ahmad Deedat. He used the Bible itself to argue with the Christians..

What is most sickening is how these people uses Islam and making a mockery in the name of Islam or any other religion. So, if this case involving a Kulim Adun from PKR inciting hatred and resort to name calling, I would agree with the action of the police to detain him. Then again, those from PAS and UMNO should be arrested too.

finally, do read again one of RPK’s posting which he made before the protest, actually something to do with anwar’s trial but they (the extract) are so relevant to the muslim mob who gathered at the bar council.

Listen to how Muslims talk. They foam at the mouth in defence of Islam. They slander and defile other religions. They declare all other religions as false and their holy books as fakes. They profess only Islam as the true religion, Muhammad as the final and legitimate Prophet, and the Quran as the only authentic book still in existence. Then they do everything that Islam is against without blinking an eyelid as if this is what God Himself prescribed.
No, the non-Muslims do not moralise like the Muslims do. The non-Muslims are not patronising like the Muslims are. The non-Muslims do not talk down to those of other religions like the Muslims do. The non-Muslims do not preach that those not of their religion are the enemies of God who should not be taken as friends the way the Muslims preach.
Yes, there are good Muslims and there are bad Muslims. There are also good people of the other religions and there are bad people of the other religions. But only Muslims pretend to be good when they are actually bad. Only Muslims talk about their religion non-stop while going against everything their religion stands for.
Anwar described at great length what ails our country. Anwar described in great detail what ills our society is suffering from. But all that could have been explained in just one sentence. Muslims do not know how to be Muslims. Muslims do everything Islam is against. Muslims are hypocrites. That is what ails Malaysia. That is the sickness of our society. And that is why Malaysia is a lost cause as long as we have the majority 1.2 million leaders and civil servants coming from just one faith, the Muslim faith.
