new bus system

grrr! so much talk about the new bus system! do you know i am one of the casualty (if not the first… or earliest) of the new bus system? it was because of the new bus system that caused me to tripped and fall and hurt my eyes!!

why can’t the buses stop at komtar, just like it used to be? why stop at prangin mall? prangin mall is so narrow and congested! and most of the time we won’t know for sure where the bus will stop… like that day when i had the fall, it was supposed to stop in front of the jewelery shop (the covered area) but it suddenly stop in front of active lifestyle dept. store, and i had to run over there to catch it.

grrr!!! there is no proper bus stations for all the buses. like what happened in weld quay, which people had complained that it was one big mess. the bus stop at prangin mall is a big mess as well!!

grrr!! i’m so mad at the penang gomen. they talked so much about improving the bus system, improving the busses (doing checks and all that) BUT why they never consider about bus stops/stations/terminals at all? why is there no proper bus station? why these stupid idiot minsiters when they think of revamping the bus routes, they never think of bus stations? to those who have try to catch the buses at prangin mall or weld quay/jetty, you would know how difficult it is, and how congested the area is.

komtar bus station at least is better than prangin mall and jetty because it is a real bus station with lanes for different buses and waiting areas with benches for commuters. so why switch the bus station from komtar to prangin mall (at least for the bus routes i take – the ‘yellow’ milan route). in fact i would say prangin mall should not be used as a bus station/stop at all. it is a small area for vehicles to pass by and many shoppers use the place too to cross from one block to another. i won’t be surprise if one day an awful accident happens there.
