santa to meet spicy one and elephants and mangoes

well i will be away for the weekend again. this time i am going to attend a one day session, organised by KL’s national office of human development at the archdiocesan pastoral centre in jalan robertson (located in same grounds as the stella maris school). i will be there with 4 of my colleagues. we will leave on 9 dec. friday evening and stay at the APC centre (free!). the talk will be on 10 dec. saturday, from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

i thought to myself since i will be in KL for the talk, why not i arrange to meet friends in KL. the very first friend i thought of was sharon, a very long time friend whom i get to know during those ‘malaysian post days’. (she will undersand what i mean). oh she has a blog (with a rather strange name), but it is not updated frequently, and she is only a 3 months old baby blogger. we met once before more than 10 years ago, then 2nd time, i think about 5 years ago, when her mother and aunty and nephew and niece were in penang to makan angin. she is from sabah actually but is now staying in KL. i had lost contact with her ever since that meet. then suddenly somewhere beginning of nov., she appeared in my blog! wow! can’t believe it! she was over-joyed to find me and i was over-happy to see she found me. so i thought to myself as i had plan to go to KL for that one day session, why not i go and kacau sharon to ‘whiten her doorsteps’ (a phrase i learned from the late s.h. tan – again during those malaysian post days). she said she had recently bought a new apartment and welcome me to stay there so being the first guest of her, i guess i will be literally whiten her doorsteps (that is if i don’t happen to step on shit on the way. haha).

then i was thinking to myself on sunday i would be free, so why not arrange to meet lynnee, the spicy one. she’s the first blogger i thought of. i enjoy reading her blog very much as i feel that in most of her posts, i can relate to what she wrote about. many a times i felt that she thinks the same way as i do!

well, from sharon to lynnee, and from lynnee… to ALL! since lynnee said she has not met any bloggers before (even those in KL), we thought we might as well make this meet public. lynnee had already blog on this and had dedicated a special santa claus song to me. might be quite apt since i might look like santa claus to some people. hehehe. yalah. me short and fat so look like santa lah. we kind of share the same name too – i’m santa lucia. now, anybody has a white beard to lend me?
