new design

ta… daa!! presenting the new look of my blog. howzit? good? nice? it is very blue eh? well i like blue colour and since this blue template is available from elementopia, so i grabbed it at once. on 18 april i had already mentioned i was in the process of changing to a new look. from that date onwards, once in a while, if i’m free i did some editing for the new template, which i did on my duplicate blog. since yesterdat was a holiday and i was at home whole day, i decided to really get to work on my new look blog. whole afternoon, i spent about 3 hours updating and editing it. actually there are a few other things i like to do/adjust but because i’m html challenged, i can’t. at the moment, i just use whatever little html knowledge i have, or most of the time just do a ‘monkey see, monkey do’ stuff!

the heading picture comes from wits0. a big thank you to him for sending to me lots of different headings in various designs. this template, you’ll notice, you won’t be able to see the right sidebar without scrolling. this is one of the cons that i don’t like about the template but i figure since the main post section is the most important, as long as you don’t have to scroll to read the main post, i’ll just have to do with this design. also, i try to put some links that are not so important at the right sidebar.

one thing i don’t understand and can’t get to edit the template is this ’empty space’ at the right and left. i figure if i can do away with the empty space on the right and left, then there won’t be much scrolling to be done to be able to read the whole blog. any expert able to help me? go to the template site shades of blue and you’ll see the template codes there. what am i suppose to do to get rid of the empty spaces?

well, for now, i’ll just leave my blog as it is but it still need some fine tuning, i suppose. i do hope there won’t be problems cropping up later with this new look. give me some feedback. i’m sure you prefer this design to the earlier one, right?
