money money money – BN splashing it around!

i'm sure many of you know the popular song 'money money money' by abba? well, here is a revised version (chorus only), courtesy of me, specially decidated for the GE period – all together, sing it loud and clear!

memorize it and sing it all the time! why not, even before the EC announce the nomination and polling dates, BN had already started campaigning…. WITH MONEY! throwing money here and there.

in penang, we heard so much of BN organising free dinner everyday for the people…. and some with entertainment, some with lucky draw – all these cost MONEY of course.

then we read of how flamboyant billionaire low taek jho (better known as jho low) is helping a little known NGO, 1malaysia welfare club to organise a charity concert that features international stars. read about it in malaysiakini (not a subscriber? sign up through me! i can give discount). with a name like '1malaysia' naturally it is a NGO that support BN, so it is money splashed for BN, see.

the international celebrities that are expected to perform are american hip hop singer, swizz beats and rapper, busta rhymes.  other artistes who have agreed to perform at the concert include hong kong singers sandy lam, george lam, sally yeh, and local artists eric moo, ning baizura and shila amzah. canadian teen sensation, justin bieber might appeared too.

 more recently, we suddenly heard that this 1malaysia welfare club donated RM2 million to journos and NGOs!!  as reported by same person, my penang buddy, susan loone:

Three journalists' organisations received RM50,000 each while 103 NGOs got between RM5,000 and RM50,000 at a dinner attended by party boy and billionaire Low Taek Jho,widely known as Jho Low.

A total of RM2.2 million in donations were given out to the groups last night by pro-BN 1Malaysia-Penang Welfare Club

then… this is kind of new… we heard of a 'gambling syndicate' that is claim to be happening in penang, under the pulau tikus constituency. it was reported in malaysiakini that…

pulau tikus incumbent koay teng hai is bracing for a possible defeat against a Gerakan candidate in the coming general election – because of a secret gambling activity he says is being carried out in his constituency by anonymous bookies.

koay  said the bookies have been going around collecting bets from residents in the pulau tkus state constituency to ensure that he losses the coming election.

bets at RM200 each are offered to the for me to lose my seat and if i lose, those betting will win RM1,000 each," koay told a press conference at his service centre today.

whoaa! see, MONEY again! money money money! it's a BN world!

hold your horses, please! lots of MONEY stuff to let you know… don't go away yet.

from malaysiakini, at the bahasa section (same report as above by susan loone), i came across this picture 

what is it? lucky draw!! the 1malayisa NGO dinner had a lucky draw… and look at the prizes offered! RM800,000!!! whoaa! MONEY MONEY MONEY!

then from the penang pemantau mailing list., i came across this.

someone reported that the number seen here. called to one of his client and this was what his client heard (a female voice):

"salam 1 malaysia , encik undilah barisan nasional kalau encik undi barisan nasional kita bagi RM 1500….
mahu tak encik? kalau mahu kita kena minta IC number encik la untuk pengesahan nanti."

whoaa! MONEY MONEY MONEY!

oh of course i can't end without mentioning BN's manifesto. didn't you realise it was al money money money? refer to this post i made earlier, where i show a picture of BN's money-festo… see??  BR1M of RM500 this year, next year rraised to RM1200. for single persons RM250, raised to RM600 next year. then, the 1M book voucher and school assistance… all also to be increased next year IF you vote BN. 

just great! fabulous! more and more to come i'm sure. as campaigning hots up, you'll see MONEY MONEY MONEY being splashed around here and there by BN (and maybe by PR too… only thing is they are not that rich), so come on, all together now, we sing……
