RM2.00 is not enough to feed chaly now
ok here’s the obligatory blogger’s post – to talk about the petrol increase! haha. however, i won’t talk about grumbling on the increase, the gomen’s yada-yada that the savings from petrol subsidy would go towards development , domino effect will follow, comparision of petrol prices in other countries, we will be pokai soon and so on, you know, those common stuffs. i will instead talk about my chaly (see below). you know, i know. increase by thirty cents. tiga puluh sen. highest increase. it is now RM1.92 per litre. RM1.93? gee, now i can no longer buy a RM2.00 worth petrol for my chaly i guess. my chaly, having a small stomach, doesn’t need a lot of petrol at one filling. normally i pay RM2.00, and it can fill up the stomach… but that is still with some teeny weeny petrol in it. if chaly goes until poof! suddenly no petrol at all, and i have to use the spare petrol, then it can take RM3.00 petrol. but of course i wouldn’t want to wait until chaly crusing halfway then it get starved (where i have to fill RM3.00 petrol), so normally i wait till i agak agak the stomach about to go empty, i fill it with RM2.00 worth of petrol. now that RM2.00 is short of 8 cents to a litre, i guess with just a litre won’t filled up my chaly. i either have to buy RM2.50 now, or wait till chaly is more empty and buy RM3.00. btw, RM2.00 can last chaly10 days if he doesn’t go anywhere except to and fro from work (or to lunch), which is a short distance anyway. (beginning part of macalister road to the middle part of macalister road). but i notice that lately when chaly and i went to tanjung bungah from macalister road (and to and fro of course) in two days, the RM2.00 last for only 4 days. what to do, chaly has a small stomach. i suppose this means that if chaly were to travel on the highway, i need to carry along 5 litres or so of spare petrol in bottles. 🙂
