is pak lah fair?
“i’ve to be fair to all” so says our PM, pak lah.
well, let me ask him, can the bumiputera steps onto the right side shoes and the non bumiputera steps onto the left side shoes, and together become one pair of the same shoes – having the same rights and priveleges? oops! sure cannot one. just recently our DPM, najib just said that the preferential treatment policy is here to stay (scroll down to read).
preferential treatment. hello, do you know what that means? treating someone with more favours than the others. er… does that sound fair?
so if the preferential treatment policy (or otherwise known as NEP) is here to stay, how can pak lah said he’ll be fair to all?
anyway, here, he was talking more on actions taken by him. he said that as a prime minister, he always ensures that any action taken by him whether in the interests of muslims or non muslim, it must be fair and just.
oh really! just look at the poor late moorthy for example. first of all, why was he not awarded datukship, or some other benefits after he scaled the highest mountain? and a strings of eents related to moorthy followed – the syariah court decision was not fair to non muslims! then why does he not want to look into the memorandum submitted by the 9 non muslim ministers? why did the 9 ministers had to withdraw the memorandum after ‘someone’ bising here and there? why does he now want to consider looking into article 121(A) of the constitution for amendments possibly?
oh dear me. methinks i have to borrow maverick’s blog’s name to describe him – cakap tak serupa bikin. (literally translated: talk not same as do).

OT talk: the shoes shown here is my shoes for the new year (2nd picture shows a close-up view). the designs are made of beads by my mother. this is another of my mother’s wonderful, talented handwork that i like to show off. so far, i had show off other beads stuffs (which include swans made from coca-cola cans!), a plum tree and also a lantern and fan from angpow packets.
