advanced training on citizen/video journalism

from today until next monday (6 july), i’ll be away in KL for malaysiakini’s advanced training on the above subject. 6 of us from penang will be there and there will be some from perak and sarawak and of course KL.

this is going to be an intensive training – daily 10.00am to 9.00pm. the training will take us trainees into more detail aspects of journalism and video journalism. it’s going to be a fun, interesting, power-packed and knowledge-packed training! it is understood that we will be given a hands on training on editorial process where we get to do a short internship with malaysiakini! whoa! how exciting!

the programme of our training looks very impressive. we’ll get to learn about investigative journalism, see how the editorial floor works, introduce to broadcast journalism and many more.

well i’ll be having my notebook with me, so i can still get online to blog if i have the time. maybe will do it after midnight!
