ipoh mali!

i’ll be off to ipoh this afternoon. it is our society of st vincent de paul’s (SSVP) annual formation cum AGM (for all those in northern states). today will be just registration and check in at 3.00pm and then nothing on but we planned to attend mass at the church of st joseph in batu gajah since it is st joseph’s feast day. well 1 may, being international ‘may day’ or workers day is also our church feast of st joseph the worker. oh, will be having the formation in YMCA ipoh and staying there too.

the actual program will start on saturday morning and it will be a full tight day with lots of sessions. sunday, we’ll end up with our AGM in which there is an election. i’m going to step down as secretary as i had been a secretary for near 10 years! over exceed the terms limit! what to do, it was not that i didn’t want to give it up but rather nobody wanted to take up the post. aiya usually like this one lah… working for voluntary charitable organisation, not many people want to take up posts. well i hope this sunday someone is willing to take up the secretary post.

as i’ll be having tight programs on saturday and sunday, no time to go jalan-jalan ipoh. well… see first, maybe we could squeeze in an hour or so. well, i should return to ipoh on 7 may lah… as a democratic tourist. unfortunately i can’t as 7 may i’ll be tied up with a meeting at bukit mertajam!

ok no blogging for me for 2 days as i’ll be away in ipoh. hmm… does YMCA ipoh has wi-fi? 🙂
