at pulau jerejak

there were 43 members of SSVP who attended the formation at pulau jerejak.

it was a good formation. started on saturday 9.30am and ended on sunday 11.00am. during the free time, together with a few friends, we walk round the resort – went to the beach area, then we went to the suspension bridge to try out the bridge. some members dare not walk on the bridge. i enjoyed the walk! in fact it was me who suggested we went there.

plenty to eat. (usually, isn’t that the case with all seminars?). on saturday night it was a barbecue dinner. well.. the food were quite okay except most of the dishes were very salty.

here, i show 4 photos. for more photos (over 40) please go to my online photo album.
the first photo above shows the history of pulau jerejak which is mounted on a wall (life-sized).

the following photo shows the ferry we boarded to and fro from penang island to pulau jerejak. it is a small ferry… think can seat only 50 passengers. in the centre (front) is a place for luggages. (i know this photo looks terrbile as it was too dark and i brightened it with a photo editor and turned out awful. you have to excuse me with poor photography skill).

this shows one of the lovely view in the resort. the semi circle white path you see is a raised cobble stones path. it is suppose to be good reflexology for the feet if you walk on it… but i can’t! i only managed 4 steps and felt it too painful to continue. two of my friends managed to walk to and fro!

the apartment we stay in. 2-storey block. each block i think consists of 20 rooms. nice comfortable room. we opted for 4 in a room (cheaper lah this way). it was actually a twin sharing room with one queen size bed, so they added two mattresses on the floor. the mattress was very thick so no problem sleeping on the floor. also the room was big so even with the 2 extra beds, still got place to move around.
