how to speak up when silent?
huh? something’s wrong with that sentence! it’s an oxymoron!
silence – spoke
silent – spoken
if the majority are silent, how can they speak up?
ok ok although i know the real meaning of ‘silent majority’ but in this case why they add in ‘spoken’… and oh of course this is a case of the biggest spin by the gomen. yes, like marina, i was insulted too by this spin.
and you know what? the PM had also said that his decision to have those 5 hindraf leaders detained under ISA is based on the silent majority!! can you believe that???
no, thank you, mr PM and damai, i may be silent and among the majority who are silent but i have not spoken to you or damai, so please don’t put me in as one of those silent majority. (btw, there’s a poll at walski’s blog regarding this matter).
if you don’t know what i’m talking about, go read all those links i gave here. they had spoken up a lot and very good posts, especially the last link, from maverick... very good write up.
oh and btw, if you want to read the damai’s memo in full, you can hop on to marina’s blog (but it is in bahasa).
