well done indeed, tian chua!
3 cheers to tian chua! he managed to get the mainstream media… and even the cabinet, to talk about the photo of ‘a government official named najib razak having a meal with altantuja’.
remember that photo that prosecution witness, amy, mentioned in court? i blog about it here, and mentioned that the prosecution seemed to dismissed this fact and then there was this news that najib had called on the manistream media to black out this news. indeed, all the mainstream media did not mentioned so much as a squeak regarding this testimony of amy, where she mentioned the photo. not the paper, not the TV.
i suppose everybody by now knows about the ‘doctored’ photo posted by tian chua, PKR vice chairman. typical of most bloggers, i see most of them jumped up to attack tian chua. not me. instead this was what i posted in some blogs that posted on this issue, like in walski’s my asylum blog:
==for one thing, the lady in the picture was not of altantuya at all. it is said to be that of a korean model who committed suicide several months after the murder of altantuya.
that – the picture of the lady not being altantuya – plus the fact that the photo was badly doctored should be a giveaway what tian chua was up to. yes he meant it as a satire and he purposely had the photo up to attract attention.
so i can’t understand why all the bising-bising from so many bloggers attacking tian chua. i am no fan of PKR at all but in this instance of tian’s action, i would support him. he’s a smart devil to post this doctored photo up. not only he got lots of traffic and publicity to his blog, but he managed to get the mainstream media talking about the photo amy mentioned "having dinner with a malaysian government official… his name was najib razak…", which in the beginning when it was mentioned by amy was not reported at all in the mainstream media.
see? tian’s objective was achieved.==
yes, the government’s mouthpiece had finally mentioned about this photo, and so did the MCA’s mouthpiece too. imagine one particular MP even said that what tian chua had done was an offence. of course tian chua stands firm and defended the picture he posted up. (or at mental jog extra). good for him. he had managed to get everybody talking about the picture amy mentioned, which, if not, would have been swept under the carpet.
