If the 20,000 people who signed the campaign to repeal the ISA are really sincere, it is much more effective if they transform their signatures into votes in the coming GE. A lot of seats held by the BN component parties are in reality marginal ones, hanging precariously by a few hundred votes. The 20,000 votes from above can make a big difference in the fate of these seats, and in hindsight, the fate of the whole country
