is the ban for all groups?
see, how right i was – pak lah did not called for a stop to the forum. of course the organisers had their reasons that they are not violating the PM’s directive (or here)… and of course we know the gomen will listen to them. it went on well… so said the report in the star. oh but of course it went on well… don’t tell me they are expecting to see protestors? no i won’t be there to protest because i don’t want people to laugh at me.
see, despite the home minister coming up to say that the ban on forums touching on religion is for ALL groups, including muslim, yet ACCIN forum went on.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Radzi Sheikh Ahmad has reminded all groups, including Muslims, not to organise inter-religious discussion forums which are deemed sensitive.
“What the Prime Minister said is meant for everybody. It is not applicable only to non-Muslims,†he said when contacted yesterday.

continue reading and you’ll realise another group too planned a forum over the weekend.
mr home minister, all you can do is just to blab out “i don’t know why some muslims groups should be doing it now.”? who cares you didn’t know why. all we care is why you didn’t put a stop to it? fine, if you didn’t, then let article 11 forum go on too!
actually i don’t mind all these forums by the muslims groups. it’s good to have discussion and dialogue but what i don’t like is the gomen being not fair in their decisions.
no double standard! no two sets of laws! be fair!
