one month old

ah. today is exactly a month after i start using wordpress (WP). how do i find it? lots of headache! well at least initially. however thank god i have a helpful person, my webmaster, boringest to help me along. he had been very very helpful and i don’t know what i would do without his help. so i’m gonna say here a BIG THANK YOU to you, boringest.

since i’m not techie savvy and don’t really know html, i’m glad i have someone to help me in setting up of this blog. there are a lot of things i don’t know what to do and how to do and boringest will show me how. when i encounter problems, i’ll run to him and he fix it for me. see the top bar there? it was all done by him and even some of the sidebar stuffs done by him. thank you again, boringest.

it was just yesterday that this server suddenly encounter problem and i found out something went terribly wrong with my blog. since that something was wrong with my sidebar – codes missing or what and boringest said everything had to be deleted and he pasted the last back-up he had… where a number of links i have were missing. gee… now i must find time to put up the links. already earleir spent more than 1 hour tidying up those links uner the expandable boxes. well, i guess now i must remember to back up my files regularly so that if next time anything happens i have the files and don’t have to re-do things.

i’m still not use to WP yet as there are still several features/functions i’m not sure of. i do find WP is indeed better than blogger. of course. having it hosted on own server gives one more control.

maybe some of you might have noticed that once in a while my blog turned funny. yes, it seems that, esp. on IE browser, the main column, i.e. my posts part, will all ‘drop’ down. i don’t know why this can happen. it used to happen only at IE, and on firefox, everything was fine… until today. suddenly today, the posts also ‘drop’ in firefox browser. i thought this only happens at IE and was about to put right on top “this blog is best viewed with firefox. IE not recommended” but now this problem also happens at firefox. *sigh* things just can’t turn our perfectly. hope i won’t run into other problems again.
