easter and two birthdays

many people knows that it is easter today.

some people knows that it is the pope’s birthday today.

no people knows that it is my birthday today. 🙁

yep, that’s right. the pope share the same birthday as me. my birthday usually falls around holy week. this year it falls on easter sunday… the holiest of the christian holidays. double celebration for me. ‘doubly’ honoured/blessed too this year as 1, sharing a birthday with the holy father of the catholic church, and 2, birthday falling on day of the resurrection of christ.

I said Easter Service not Easter Mass mah 😉 No, it’s not organised by the KL Archdiocese of the Catholic Church.

lucia: i know that mah. go back to my comments and read. i mentioned service. i didn’t mentioned mass. the easter vigil on saturday night we had was also known as easter service (cum mass actually). a mass can be a service but a service cannot be a mass (if you know what i mean. e.g. good friday, no mass but got service). oh and i had also mentioned probably what you attended was not organised by the catholic church, so i knew lah it was not organised by the KL archdiocese.

I am a Christian First and Foremost, not a catholic, neither a protestant. And I hold to the single Doctrine of The Word of Gods from Gen 1:1 to Rev 22:21

By adhering to The word, all False Doctrines, and even Denominations will fall, because Truth is Absolute and not Relative. i.e the catholic church cant claim something to be “truth” and the protestant and the various denominations under its banner claim something else as “truth”, and both “truths” contradict each other!.

2Ti 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

And that should be the trade of a Christian, His Spiritual Armour, His Walk & His Talk, and His Devotion & Service to God and his Neighbour

lucia: well, whatever denominations, doesn’t matter. we are all christians, that is what matters.Â

Blessed Easter Lucia and Happy Birthday

I went fror the Easter Sunrise Service @ 6:30am, Stadium Hoki Bukit Jalil.

It was awesome, literally praying to God while looking at the white clouds as the sun rises.

And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for You were slain and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation.
And You made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign over the earth.
And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures and the elders. And the number of them was myriads and myriads, and thousands of thousands,
saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. Rev 5:9-12

sunrise service? at staduim hoki bkt jalil? doesn’t sould like a catholic service eh?

i have never attended a sunrise easter service before. eh… probably because in penang’s catholic churches doesn’t have one. we have it at 8.00am and after. easter vigil on saturday night though i had attended many times but since 2 years ago, decided to skip the easter vigil.Â
