apartheid row over marina’s article

as a follow-up to my post on marina mahathir’s article for international women’s day, here is an interesting article entittled ‘malaysia apartheid rows deepens‘ from BBC.

seems that lots of people were not happy with her article. it says that some conservative women’s groups had stated that marina had bought shame to the country by saying that the new syariah laws had made muslim women into second class citizen.
