hypocrites! double standard! selective persecution!
… but then again, what else is new ah in boleland?
re: cartoon caricature – UMNO youth called on the sarawak tribune editor to resign after, the paper had published the caricature.
the UMNO-reform website had also published the cartoon for one week but nothing was done to them.
re: squatgate incident – if UMNO called for the sarawak tribune editor (and don’t know what else actions), why didn’t UMNO called for the internal minister mohd noh to resign when 1) all along he knew the woman in question was a malay but kept silent and 2) for his infamous remark of “if tourists don’t like the law in our country, then don’t come and visit” (or something like that)
re: botakgate incident – the 11 elderly chinese men playing a popular chinese game of mahjong, without money, were detained and shaved completely bald… and the police defended their action as ‘standard procedure’.
fine. standard procedure be it… but then why others who were detained were not shaved bald, like the self-proclaimed lebanesse billionaire (who had much longer hair than those elderly chinese men) and oh… and lim kit siang too, a long time ago when he was detained.
re: squatgate incident – why was china press singled out and the editors were asked to resigned, when nothing was done to utusan melayu, who also did the same thing, published that the woman in question was a chinese national?
re: police affair – PM pak lah had announced the setting up of the independent police complaints and misconduct commission (IPCMC), UMNO youth chief, hishamuddin, came out to oppose this idea – wasn’t this a question of ‘disobeying’ the boss? why was there nothing done to him? why was he not reprimanded?
re: squatgate incident moorthy case – where the 9 ministers sent a memo to pak lah, UMNO jumped up and reprimanded them, saying this is not proper, this is an insult to the boss, pak lah. what? then what is hishamuddin’s oppossition to the boss’s setting up of the IPCMC? not an insult to the boss?
