a nude head after being detained

gee… are the police obssessed with nudity or what. first we heard of nude body squat search (the squat-gate scandal), and now it’s nude head. that’s right, 11 elderly men who were playing a friendly game of mahjong, suddenly found themselves hauled up to the police station and they received a free hair cut… going going going… gone! completely nude head appears – yes, the police were ‘shaver-happy’… brrr!… brrr!… until their heads were bald.

and you know what? kajang OCPD asst comm mohd noor hakim said it was normal lock-up procedure to shave a detainee’s head. normal lock-up procedure? hey, doesn’t that sound familiar? the squat-gate scandal? the police said it was normal procedure to subject a drug suspect to nude squat.

then he went on to say that it is the lock-up rule – “rambut mesti di potong pendek-pendek”… translated, it means “hair must be cut very short”. hey, did it say botak (bald)? don’t the police understand what is ‘pendek-pendek’?

this is rather alarming. when you are detained (without being charged), be carefull… you will stand to turn into kojak (famous botak detective played by telly savalas).

say somebody framed me and said that i stole her money and reported to the police. so the police came to detain me… and whoosh! the police has the right to shave my hair bald? because it is ‘standard procedure’? after all mohd noor (noor? familiar eh? there’s another noh invovled in the squat-gate scandal) had arrogantly said that the police would continue with this procedure.

i wonder what other ‘standard procedures’ the police have up their sleeves.
