indecent dressing = prostitute = arrested!

here we go again. the police never cease to amaze me.

a plain clothes policewoman carresing the buttocks of a young lady in public. then remarking that she and her sisters are dressed like prostitutes. the two young ladies’ mother questioned the policewoman’s action, and demanded that the policewoman apologised… hey presto! she and her two daughters were arrested and thrown in jail!

yes, it can only happen in bolehland.

the lady, wan nurizan shaikh mohd, was charged with ‘insulting behaviour’.

my my, do we see a pattern here? like in the squatgate incident?

it was the policewoman who started to behave insultingly at wan nurizan and her 2 daughters, and when wan nurizan dare to question them (hurray for nurizan!), instead she was accused of insulting behaviour!

wan nurizan had a press conference, in which seputeh MP, teresa kok was present. teresa kok’s blog had wan nurizan’s full report (it’s in bahasa).

look at this picture (enlarge – same picture, part of it is shown here too) of wan nurizan’s with her 2 daughters (2nd from right, in glasses is teresa kok ok) taken from teresa kok’s blog. see how they were dressed. the 2 daughters were in spaghetti straps and wan nurizan was sleeveless. well, they show some cleavage yes, but does that means all ladies who shows cleavage or who dressed in spaghetti straps are prostitutes? why, once in a while i would dress in spaghetti straps tees too (but with no cleavage! how to when there’s nothing to show. haha).

in penang, in popular shopping centres, like prangin mall and gurney plaza, i have seen ladies, especially those very young ones, teenagers or in early 20s, dressed showing more skin than wan nurizan and her 2 daughters. tight tees with super thin spaghetti straps, showing cleavage, and the tees is so short, match with low-waisted jeans, showing lots of skin round waist area! so don’t tell me as the cops look to them as ‘dressing like prostitutes’ will want to have them all thrown in the lock-up? what? now we can’t even wear what we like, for fear of the cops picking on our dressing, saying we dress like prostitutes?

wan nurizan said it well – “do i have to wear a tudung (head scarve) in order not to be called a prostitue?”
