weekend in KL part 2 – sharon’s place

the seminar ended at 5.00pm. i then phone sharon my friend and she came to pick me up in a cab to her house in berkeley park, sri putramas. it’s a new housing area and she just moved in last sunday! met her boyfriend, and we all go to plaza demas (or is it gemas… forgot) for dinner, then to the nearby sri hartamas shopping complex to walk around (no, not to shop… though sharon did ended up buying some cute toys!). sharon’s condo was at the 19th floor, and this is a picture taken from her condo of the streets scene. i was told that the road you see leads to kepong. next picture is same scene taken at night. you can only see the bright lights. at least this is consider a good picture since i had learned how to use the digicam’s bestshot feature – to set it for night scene shot. ya! after more than one year (or is it two?) owning my RM1.7K casio exilim digicam, now only i managed to learn how to use the bestshot features where i can auto set for night scene, potrait, food, text and so on. silly me! thank god for that as i i can know snap food pictures clearly. yet there are many other features to be discovered.

ok back so sharon. sharon’s condo was spanking new as she just moved in last sunday. the bedrooms are not ready yet and they sleep in the living room! but i have a room to myself with a mattress and pillow. the floor of the bathroom was partially completed. the last picture was taken from the room where i slept in, which shows part of the condo at the other block. thus you get an idea of how sharon’s condo look like – they are the same, only different blocks. it’s a high security area i see. they have to use security card to enter the condo unit, and even with that, there is also a security guard sitting at the entrance of the condo unit.

during the night, sharon and i had a nice time reminiscing over good old times when she showed me photos and articles from malaysian post. seemed that the first time we met was in 1993, when she came to penang, and i with two other friends took her around penang. wow! 1993! this means 13 years ago! somewhere after 1993 we did met up again when she came with her mother, aunty and nephew and niece.

i’m glad that sharon managed to ‘google find’ me! it’s good to get in touch with her again. i would like to thank sharon (and also her bf, daevid) for her kind hospitality shown to me on my visit to her place.
