RM230,00 cash in total for nicol david

malaysian PM, pak lah sent her and her parents congratulatory messages. then he also called them up on the phone. (picture left. you can download a video of nicole’s interview on her arrival at KLIA at this link).

the cabinet had approved RM200,000 cash reward for her. yesterday the penang government announced the surprise for nicole – cash reward of RM30,000 and an apartment valued at RM180,000. (updated: seems that she got 2 apartment! one from the government and one from PDC.)

earlier we heard ong ka ting, MCA president, during the launching the eighth general conference of world buddhist sangha council speaking up:
“we are proud of her outstanding performance, which has made all malaysians stand tall”

so we see the prime minister speaking up, and so did MCA. strangely (or is it?) nothing from UMNO!
