surrounded by babies

do i mean cmos or yvy, or even the youngest, cheeaun? nah, cheeaun is 20 (right?)… that’s no more a baby. i meant ’em all baby pictures lah! yep, lots of them all around us in the restaurant, ‘ice ice baby’. take a look at http://www.mistyeiz.com/2005/11/28/the-blogger-netizens-meet-up/ and you’ll see lots of them, though they had been censored (baby pics also must censored eh?)….. but can have a peek here and there at cmos and n305er blog… not censored, and here too i present to you here, in all it’s bare glory….

ice ice baby! indeed cool baby… with a tattoo too (or was it just a rubber stamp?). hey, this reminds me of where to put my tattoo if i do get one.

this is just one of the many giant pictures that adorn the whole wall of ice ice baby restaurant, ok, not that i suddenly got a fetish for taking pictures of naked babies. 🙂

and speaking of taking pictures… damn!… most of the pictures i took from my handphone doesn’t comes out clear. i took 12 pictures and so happened that only those 2 not important ones turns out clear – this baby’s butt pic and a pic of my food (will show it later). what a pity the other group pictures not clear. serve me right for not bringing my digicam. anyway, i remember last time the pictures i took with my handphone turns out good. don’t know why these doesn’t turns out good. i know… perhaps i was giggling away and feeling excited, thus snapped the pictures with a shaky hands. never mind lah. since i don’t have good pictures of the meet, i’m afraid i’m going to be a thief and steal some pictures from the others who were there… be warned eh, guys…

ok, about the meet now. well i was the 2nd person to arrived, after n305er, who was sitting at the kids’ corner. i didn’t realise it was the kids’ corner until he told me so. oh, i then said, we had better move to the other side since an aunty like me shouldn’t be seen at the kids’ corner. lol.

so there we were, just the 2 of us. huh? why only he alone? he had said he would bring 4 or 5 of his friends… all from penanglive. well i was told his friends were working so can’t come. anyway, after 10mins or so, one of his friend, christopher did turn up. while the 3 of us were chatting, yvy, who gave a lift to cheeaun called up to ask for direction, and soon they arrived.

as there were already 4 of us, we decided to start ordering our food. cool. we can choose our own menu for the set meal… and at RM8 only… plus RM1 if we want it topped with cheese. for main, i choose baked rice with ‘golden prawn’ so the menu said. naturally i setlled for prawn as prawn is my all time favourite. and i choose XO sauce. the rice came wrapped in an aluminium foil and on opening it, there’s a lovely tempting layer of baked cheese on top of the rice! mmm…. yummy! the rice was nice but i was very disappointed to find out that there was only one miserable prawn. yep, you heard me right. 1. one. satu. and not a big one too. i would have thought at least 3 prawns. ayoh. if i know only 1 prawn, i wouldn’t have choose the prawn menu. felt cheated.

jeremy and cmos arrived later and they too had the set meal. then KK, a relatively new blogger who used the strange name ‘put2put3‘ turned up. (reminds me of ah pek who talk 3, talk 4. say, i should rename my blog to say4say5 oneday.) later on lilian showed up, and just 5 mins after she showed up, liewcf came with a lenglui and a lengchai. (pretty girl and pretty boy!). the others, cmos and n305er seems to notice the lenglui only but not the lengchai. haha. of course lah. typical men reaction. the other lenglui friend of liewcf arrived later by herself.

btw, the pistol you saw there is a lighter with UV ray light, which is a present from KK. he bought 6 of those pistols and passed to me. as i got the idea of our last meet where jeremy gave away free hosting for 6 months to the early comers, so i immediately decided to give these 6 to the first 6 early comers. it is a very beautiful lighter indeed! made of metal and very heavy. KK said the lighter is one of the souvenirs his company use to give to clients. thank you, KK.

so all together, there were 13 of us, 4 non bloggers. we had the whole place to ourselves! really, no other customers were at the first floor. this was good since being the typical bloggers we are, we move around a lot snapping pictures here and there.

oh i would like to thank lilian very much for buying the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue for us. one group attacked the cheese fondue while liewcf and his friends had the chocolate fondue. thank you, lilian for being so generous. we did get 10% (right?) discount off for our food, not less RM100 off the whole bill!

liew was rather shy and quiet, did not talked much. but then again that could be because we were seated at a long table and he only managed to talk to those who were next to him or opposite him. lilian, who sat opposite liew, left early. so since the seat was vacant, i move over there to get a chance to talk to liew (as my original seat was very faw away from him!).

around 4.30, n305er and christopher decided to leave. so we all stood up and say the usual bye bye… and then suddenly one by one, the others also said they had to leave. apalah ini? one person start leaving, all also must follow suit. but of course understandably too, they have other appointments to catch up with.

before liew left, i wanted to take a picture of him but his lenglui gf offered to take a picture of him and me together instead. now, this picture turns out clear (with my handphone)… see it’s the photographer, not the camera. 🙂 i was wondering to post this pic of me and liew or not as i don’t look good in the pic. ok lah, never mind lah, what the heck…

as you can see i’m rather fat eh? and of course short. and no hour-glass figure. haha. you know, i realise that i’m like opposite of lilian. lilian is tall and big size while i am short and small size. and if lilian is fat (sorry madam!… it is just a IF), she won’t look so awful since she is tall and big, while i being short and small and is fat… aiyo… terrible lah… like what we chinese (in hokiien) use to call it ‘pu ta ung’ – the round wobbly doll which when you hit it, then it spring back again… though of course if you hit me, i won’t spring back but lie fat (too heavy to get up. hehe).
