at coffee beam (beamed away my money!)

hair! hair! hair! gawd! these guys have more hair than me! i meant on the head/face ok. shame on you for thinking otherwise. 🙂

well, these are 3 out of the 16 + 1 people who turned up for the bloggers meet yesterday at coffee bean, gurney plaza. on the right is peter, left is jeremy and the ‘goatee’ one is ong.

1 non blogger, 13 penang bloggers, 2 kl bloggers – 16 of us. the +1 is lilian’s (of 5xmom blog) cute son. so there were 17 of us present. those who were present:

this meet see by far, the largest number of attendees. the last meet at prangin mall food court had 12 attendees. thanks to RB for organising this meet.

i had taken 12 pictures but most of them doesn’t turned up good. quite dark, i see. i have the rest of the pictures in my online album. i’m not going to name who is who as some request for anonymity. anyway, to those who appeared in the pictures, if you feel you want your face blank out (though i no name names), let me know ok.

it was a fun meeting as get to meet new friends and meet again old friends. my only complain was that the drink was too damn expensive!! imagine RM9.98 for a cup of iced latte coffee… and it was not a bit nice too, taste more of the ice than the coffee. the kopi-o-peng from my regular kopi-tiam tastes 10x better than it! shouldn’t have order a cold drink but a hot one eh, as usually in most cold drinks, the ice diluted the drinks and we can’t taste the actual taste. even so, hot or cold, it’s bl**dy expensive to spend RM9.98 for a drink (some, like jeremy, even more expensive than my 9.98). that’s why you see, i don’t like to meet in coffee bean or starbucks. never mind, i know better. next time if we do meet in such places, i’ll bring my own drinks in a tupperware! heh.

oh another complain (yalah. ada lagi) was that we could not really move around, thus no chance to chat to everyone. well, what to do, meeting in a public place like that one lah (more so a popular place).

a few people like lilian, cmos, yvy left early… think about 4pm or so. i had to leave at 5.30 as i need to go to church (for mass which starts at 6.00), and since it was my duty to commentate, i had to be there early… if not i can hang around until 5.45 then super speed on my chaly to the church. and if i don’t have to attend church at all, i would hang around until everyone leave. haha. yeah, usually i like to be the last to leave. i wonder what time did the last person left? did your all stay for dinner at the plaza?

oh yeah, i wore the PPS anniversary t-shirt to the meet. this was the first time i wore it ever since i bought it back from KL during the PPS anniversary bash in june. really. unlike many others, who like to wear what they bought at once, not me. i like to keep it for special occasion. my friend gave me a nice pants on my birthday (in april) and until now i have not worn it yet!
