men dangerous mind speaking

copied 2nd paragraph of the post of mine tittled ‘cock-a-doodle-do’

“another thing is, we must remember, the correct way to say it is not ‘chinese new year’ but rather ‘lunar new year’. you see, this is because the lunar new year is not celebrated by chinese only but also by vietnamese, taiwanese, koranskoreans, thai and those from mynamar (if not mistaken). so it is kind of wrong to say ‘it is the chinese new year’ but to be technically correct, it should be ‘it is the lunar new year’.”

now, anyone in his/her right thinking mind would know i made a spelling error when wanted to spell ‘koreans’. i missed out the ‘e’ so it became ‘korans’. so the word ‘korans’ remained until lone made a comment – “It may be the lunar new year and the day is celebrated by the Vietnamese, the Chinese and Koreans [certainly not the Korans!] but each has different manners of celebrating the day.”, i only realise the spelling error, so i made a correction, the usual way a blogger would do it with the already posted blog… not erasing the wrong word, but strikeout the wrong word and add in the correct word. yep that was what i did.

well, even if i did not correct it (with the strikeout), i’m sure everybody would know it was a spelling error, nothing more than that. i was mentioning that the lunar new year is celebrated by the vietnamese, taiwanese, koreans, thai… koreans see, the people from korea.

why then did someone accused me of lashing out at the holy koran? can you believe that? it is so obvious that my paragraph there has absolutely nothing to do with the holy koran at all.

another thing i hate is, when a person likes to bring out the other person’s religion when attacking her/him. things like ‘this is not what a christian (or add in any other religion) is suppose to talk about’, ‘this is now how a christian should behave’, ‘ as a christian (or any other religion), i’m ashamed that you a christian…’,‘this kind of cheap shot and talk is not the voice of christianity’ and so on. go on, call my post cheap shot and talk, slightly off tune, whatever, i don’t mind as after all it is only someone’s opinion, BUT do not bring in my religion please. yes, i’m a bad person, yes i’m an evil person, yes i’m taking cheap shots, yes i’m self-righteous, yes i’m proud, yes i’m a bitch, yes i’m ___ (any negative/bad points you want to think of me)…. but it is me as a person… a person who can be a christian, muslim, hindu, buddhist. attack me as a person, do not bring in my religion. do not say e.g. “how can you be so evil when you are a christian?”. what? does that means other religion can be evil?

all men are evil or good regardless of their religion. that’s why when a person act/talk a certain way, you should not bring in his/her religion. yes, it is men who are doing the speaking, not her/his religion.
