bloggers meet in penang

peter tan of the digital awakening had a successful bloggers meet in KL. inspired by this, i talked over with peter, and decided to call for a penang bloggers meet. had already email a few persons, and 3 are for it (plus peter tan too of course). the following are the details:

we decided on a place near USM, since i found that there are quite a number of bloggers who are USM students. no starbucks or coffee bean as my choice as those are expensive places. i wonder why bloggers like starbucks? earlier other bloggers meet in kl were in starbuck too. because it is a cool, hip, to-be-seen place? well, in pelita, you can get good teh tarik (tea) for only RM1 and not RM10 if you are in starbucks.

some of you might remember the bloggers meet i planned on occasion of international webloggers meet in june last year. though 4 had email me to let me know they would be coming but only 1 turned up. you can read about it here and here, and here, after the meet.

methinks it had been ages (or none?) that there was no bloggers meet in penang, so i feel it’s high time we have one. of course not necessarily open for penang bloggers only but wherever you are from, but happened to be in penang, you are welcome. let’s meet and get to know each other and find out the persons behind the blogs.
