7 rude habits
with reference to my post below, re: the govt. embarking on a 5 years campaign to install good values among malaysians, in yesterday’s star paper, wong sulong gave his views on the campaign and lament that it is hard to say thank you.
nah, to me it is not hard to say thank you. to me, thank you is easy to utter out as i blog here.
well, the star has come out with ‘the rude malaysian contest’. they want to find out find out which are the seven most detestable rude situations in the view of their readers. there are 14 rude habits stated there. go and vote and at the same time hoping to win RM300 hamper. ain’t that good or what? 🙂
yes, i did vote and i pick ‘inconsiderate driving’ as no. 1. well, to me i feel that the most and worst rude habits of people has to do with driving and the handphone.
if you list them out in details, one by one, there’ll be no end to them.
anyway, i had decided to come up with my own personal 7 rude habits. here they are, in no particular order:
1) while talking to me and their phone ring, they’ll answer the phone without so much as an ‘excuse me’ voiced out to me. what? think i’m a statue?
2) i ask somebody for a lift, s/he hesitate and said “er… er.. you don’t have other people to give you a lift?”. for crying out loud, if i have, would i ask you?
3) eating or drinking with loud slurping sound. argh! my hair is standing on its end.
4) those damn motorists who parked their cars in front of motorcycle parking lot. made me so mad. either i see lots of parking space but because of their cars in front, i cannot go in to park but mostly it is after i parked, when i came back to take my bike, i saw these cars parked in front of the motorcycle parking lot which blocked my exit. bas***ds!
5) bus passengers (mostly men) who sit so close to me with shoulder or legs touching me. eek!
6) people who let their handphone ring while in a meeting… but even worst is those idiots who answer the phone right there and then! grrr!!!
7) people who stand in the middle of a passageway or doorway chit chatting away, blocking my (and others) path. oy! where’s your head eh?
hmm… i see that i can’t escape mentioning driving and handphone there. see, told ya. what are yours rude habits you observed? i’m sure it include driving and handphone.
