god is angry with the aceh people

my post ‘god does not act this way’ refers (related).

according to this article, some islamic clerics thinks that the tsunami happened because god is angry.

excerpt:
“God is angry with Aceh people, because most of them do not do what is written in the Koran and the Hadith,” the collected sayings and actions of the prophet Muhammad, explained Cut Bukhaini, 35, an imam. “I hope this will lead all Muslims in Aceh to do what is in the Koran and its teachings. If we do so, God will be merciful and compassionate.”

well if they said tsunami happened because god is angry at them (aceh people), then they were in a way blaming god for the disaster. clerics blaming god?

UPDATED: just got to highlight this comment as i find it awfully funny and extremely illogical (notice the bold highlights):
=====This takes the cake. I can’t be bothered with your blog but when you are making a fool of our universal faith of one God for all with your little, closed mind, I have to say something. Stop being such an attention seeker by sweeping all these irrelevant news and make it your blog’s headlines. What are you trying to gain? More traffic? Pathetic. Izuan and Mack are kind enough to give you their polite responses. Listen to others before you drag the whole Catholic church into your mess.

All of us blame God at some point in our life. So what? God is a forgiving God. We are humans, we get angry, we lost our senses and make some wrong judgements sometimes. But it is people like you who are the worst of the lot who seek self-glorification by using God’s name. Don’t try to tell me you are spelling god and God differently. And don’t bother to give your long explanation ‘cos no one is interested to hear them.=====

click on ‘jogging of minds’ (comments) to see who is this nice person who had been hurling at me so many nice names. i specially laugh until tummy ache at ‘drag the whole Catholic church into your mess’ and ‘self-glorification by using God’s name’.
