the season of giving

came across ‘project baby ryan’ via petertan’s blog, the digital awakening. go there and read for more information, and also for a picture of baby ryan.

to summarise, baby ryan is suffering from congenital diaphragmatic hernia and is in the paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) of university malaya medical centre. he has been in the PICU since his birth in august last year. his mum, together with lilian chan’s support, had embarked on this project to help get gifts for ryan’s buddies in PICU, UMMC. they are banking on your generosity for some contributions. as peter tan said, do something meaningful this christmas – spread some cheer to those who truly need it, so give, because christmas is the season of giving.

i had done my part. yesterday i had gone to the post office to purchase postal order to be given to ryan’s mum, for her to purchase gifts for ryan’s buddies. and as per lilian’s suggestion, i will also send some cute stickers (which have been lying around in my drawer) to ryan’s little sister.
