gone free speech… if touching on….

to borrow from someone, i am now ‘echoing’ this news. (he said all our postings on politics/current issues are only echoes). and i’m late in exercising my echoes too. this news was up on 17 nov. and a few bloggers had already blog on it.

excerpt from the news article:
Dr Lim, who is also Gerakan president, said this when commenting on a report
by a Malay language tabloid today that a local website had been turned into
a column to humiliate certain races and Islam, including expressing anger by
using foul language.

see the same pattern there? like what happened to jeff ooi’s screenshot when a certain anwar posted something seditious?

the report came from a malay tabloid – for this case.
anwar’s situation, the complaint came from a malay minister.

the so called seditious post is on islam – same for both anwar’s and now this.

in rajan’s blog, somebody pointed out to him, that a commenter in jeff’s had this to say:Well pardon me. But I came across this site today – http://blog.menj.org/ which seems seditious and religiously inflammatory – towards a few religions I should say. Most of the arguments presented however, is the distortion of truth.
Why don’t the government go on further to take some action since it’s a threat to national security?

why indeed, do you think? well… perhaps it doesn’t have that same 2 patterns as above i mentioned. *sigh*
