selective condemnation
there you have it… re: what’s happening in thailand now, ioannis gatsiounis of asia times said it so aptly… that malaysia is silent on muslim retaliation.
meanwhile analysts had said that malaysia-thailand’s relationship had been strained due malaysia’s harsh out-spoken criticism… and do you know these came from whom? not our PM, but the ‘cakap banyak’ ex PM… and worst still, ex DPM, anwar. (he’s not in politics but yet now and then he opened his mouth on foreign/local political matters. ugh!).
our ex PM had urged the thai government to consider giving some autonomy to the south and compared the insurgency to the struggle for a palestinian state, while the ex DPM accused thai premier thaksin of “arrogance” in his handling of the issue.
why don’t both of them then say something about all the bombings that had been going on, the killings, the beheading, by these people (we know who) who apparently did it in revenge? don’t tell me they encourage revenge? oh wait a minute… it depends who did it. ahh… i see. selective condemnation.
