which would you choose?

which, out of these 3 would you choose, and why? (don’t say all ok!!)

intelligence
wealth
long life

to me intelligence is the most important. we may have all the wealth in the world but if we are not intelligent, we might get cheated!

there’s no point in having a lof of money if we are not intelligent to decide what to do with the money, right? how did the wealthy acquire thier wealth? through intelligence and hard work of course (excluding those born with a silver spoon in their mouth).

take the famous late writer, charles dickens for example. he came from a poor family. his father was thrown into jail because he couldn’t pay his debts and dickens was often left n hunger. but then dickens possessed the ability to write. he used his intelligence as a writer and in the process gained fame and wealth.

why do parents send their children to school? to study of course. when we study, we gain knowledge and with knowledge, comes wisdom or intelligence. so the steps are: study – knowledge – intelligence. add in hard work, we can be successful in life or become wealthy! so you see when i picked intelligence, i get a bonus – wealth too! 🙂

as for long life, it doesn’t strike me at all. living a long or short life doesn’t matter. it is a fruitful life that matters. a person who lives up to 50 years may be satisfied with his life as he had made the most of his 50 years, while a person who lives up to 70 years may not be satisfied with his life as he might have wasted his 70 years of living.

so what do you think? actually when one is wealthy and intelligent, one will tend to live healthy thus have long life. ahhh… so you see by choosing first intelligence, i can get all 3!!

NOTE: unfortunately i was not born intelligent, so here i am ending up not wealthy. 🙁
ok ok you would say there’s no such thing as born intelligent… so i guess maybe i should say i was not intelligent enough to gain knowledge that would made me wealthy??
