Dubbed wearable digital cameras, Phillips’s Camera Key Rings allow you to capture pictures easily anytime you want as it travels with you wherever you go, and shooting pictures is a snap. Just slide over the protective lens cover, point and shoot. It’s as that simple.

Ultra lightweight and made of durable magnesium, this camera comes with a 64 Mb internal Flash Memory, which means you can take and store about 400 1.3 Mega pixel-quality pictures. There is no need for batteries. You charge the camera by connecting it via USB (no software drivers required if you are using Windows XP). wow. i wonder when will this camera come to our country for sale. maybe i should consider buying it. alamak. but i just bought a digicam during the merdeka digital sale fair. actually as i’m a beginner to digial photography and wanted a basic digicam, my budget fixed was below RM1000 or maybe a little over RM1000. however at the fair, i was attracted to a small slim digicam with a huge display – the casio exilim… and ah a huge price tag too! at RM1699! (way over my proposed budget). i thought over better to buy it, and what with my friend’s encouragement of how good the digicam is, i decided never mind, ok to splash near RM2K for a good digicam, so i made up my mind to buy it. so here i am with my new toy, which i had started playing around with it to get used to it.

before i bought this digicam, some friends had asked me why not buy a handphone with camera. well i told them i never like ‘2-in-1’ gadget (or more than 2). i’m sure most people know that the quality of a digicam in a handphone is not as good as in a real digicam. beside, i love my present handphone, siemens S45 which has a lot of features enough for me.

this philips camera key ring should be good i feel, as it is just a camera by itself, and of course it has the feature i like most – small and light! of course it is only 1.3 MP compare to my casio exilim which is 3.2 MP but for basic photo taking 1.3 MP would be sufficient.

well to those amateur photographers looking for a low-end basic digicam that is small and light… and wearable!… perhaps the philips camera key ring is for you.
