oleh kerana hari ini hari kemerderkaan negara kita, saya akan cuba menulis dalam bahasa kebangsaan kita.

telah lama saya tidak tulis dalam bahasa malaysia (BM), jadi akan terdapat berapa kesalahan. maafkan saya ya, dan janganlah letawakan saya, ok, terutamanya saya tidak ada kamus untuk dirujukkan, dan saya juga akan campur bahasa inggeris bila tidak tahu mengguna BM. kalau ada kesalahan yang besar, wahai para bloggerku, tolong tunjukkan ya?

there you have it - the malaysian blog idol contest from robertchai.com. do hop on to his site for further information. basically they are organsing a contest to source for the best malaysian blog idol. the contest will run for a year beginning from today. what you have to do is simply write a post and send to them, then sit back and wait for votes to your post from the public, and finally from the judges who will determine the winners.

ok guys, let the party begin! this evening, if you are free, with nothing better to do, instead of roaming the departmental stores to ‘cuci mata’ (for the men) or get crowded in a dark room watching some stars in action, why don’t you head on to the merdeka party with a difference - no flag waving! (see, there’s no jalur gemilang here too but a pic of our dear tunku instead).

anyone, esp. those in KL, know of any low budget hotels in the puduraya area? at least those that are below RM150 per night.

many years back when i was in KL, i stayed once in puduraya hotel. it was not a very good hotel but it was cheap and just for one night is ok. is the puduraya hotel still existing in the puduraya terminal?

“do not challenge us” UMNO youth keris wielding man warned MCA youth. why? just because MCA youth demanded that his deputy, khairy boy should apologise. (no, it is not because they have a super ultraman in thier party to fight for them), this hishy guy kept on saying again and again that his deputy boy was misunderstood.

“Khairy had said he was misunderstood and that the matter would be raised at the BN Youth meeting. What more does MCA Youth want?”

Police will investigate the alleged assault of two youths by uniformed “policemen” aired over a news clip on TV3’s Bulletin Utama yesterday.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Bakri Omar said he would direct his officers to probe the incident which appeared to have occurred in what could have been a police station.

The four-minute clip, which also showed a youth being forced to lick his saliva off the floor, is believed to have been recorded on a handphone because of its poor quality.

now, when can i see the clip on youtube? and posted up by bloggers here and there? howsy?

this boy who refused to apologised stir the shit more when he said it was not necessary to apologise for protecting the party, religion, race and country. also, i just heard on tv3 nightline (midnight news), he was shouting “there is no need to apologise for defending UMNO”. (or something like that).

whoa! see, right from the horse’s mouth - “defending UMNO” (plus islam and malay too) - so this means what he said was NOT misconstructed at all! he really meant it that the chinese community will take advantage of UMNO if UMNO is weak - he gave the proof now that he said there is no need to apologise since he was defending UMNO.

ahh. this is one merdeka party that you don’t have to bring along your little jalur gemlang to wave about, nor will the organisers be handing you the jalur gemilang too. (er… will the zam zam guy said the party goers are unpatriotic then?).

last night for the first time i attended the my pdacafe (MPC) beamfest gathering!

what is beamfest? it is a gathering of tech gadgets enthusiastics. why is it call beamfest? not so sure but perhaps because the members are suppose to beam whatever (files, games, pictures) from one PDA to another.

i had been frequenting MPC forum for a long time and the first time i heard of beamfest, i did thought of attending but i was thinkng to myself i don’t have a PDA (or any other tech gadget) no point going. the veteran members of course said it is not necessary for you to own a gadget to attend but as long as you are interested in gadgets but not owning one (yet), you can attend.
